In what I'm claiming as a beautiful coincidence, I just bought the radio remote for my ipod, turned it on to Triple J, and heard the first single from the new Lucksmiths album! And they're coming to Tilleys to launch it in November! Plus I had a good mango lassi at lunch. Turning out to be a good day.

I'd pretty much given up any hope of being able to post to Vox from work, since the lovely new IT provider is ruthlessly cutting off access to any sites that might be considered frivolous. But then I remembered reading a post from someone who had used Google Docs as a blog editor, and since Vox allows one to post via email, I thought I'd give it a go. There are probably a few drawbacks to this method; I have no idea whether the posting actually worked, since I can't see vox.com at all. Also, I've no idea whether bold or italic text will be stripped out somewhere along the line. And I don't think I can embed pictures or video or anything. Actually let's give that a try:
